Rewinding back to Suzannie's visit to Angers. Technically we were catsitting at Jen's very cute apartment in town. You can imagine how challenging this was.

So we stayed right on one of the cute pedestrian streets, a great location.

Approximately every morning started with something like this.

Sunday morning we biked to a open-air market and picked up veggies like artichokes and Brussels sprouts and other goodies for the week, including oysters! My brain wasn't completely functioning and I had convinced us both that we had purchased mussels somehow.  After cleaning most the mussels, we realized we were in fact cleaning oysters. Which probably wasn't so necessary. In the end though, they made for a tasty dinner accompanied with artichokes and homemade mayonnaise.

Sunday afternoon we went up to the brocante (flea market) by the chateau.

And then stopped by said chateau for a quick snapshot.
