My biking buddy and I went out for our second adventure, this time to Chateau de Serrant outside of Angers. It was a little tricky at times because some of the roads in our Google Maps directions didn't have names. So we pretty quickly we're just going our own way, down long country roads that seemed like large, really well paved bike paths due to the happy lack of cars. I loved just biking out in the country, going any way we pleased and finding the chateau once we got into St Georges sur Loire.
We passed a fair amount of animals, an erratic chicken
and an apple orchard.
The sun was already starting to set, so early, so we didn't end up touring the inside. But the Serrant family is still living there... Home sweet home.
Passing the Lac du Maine once more on the way home...
And back in Angers with daylight to spare.
