It's another nice sunny day so I had planned a little biking adventure from Angers down to Bouchemaine (the mouth of the Maine) and then to Savennières. Unfortunately I got past the lac du Maine and the path was closed! So I biked around the park which was a very nice, though shorter, ride in itself too.
And then back on the bike path I snapped a couple more pictures. It's a neat narrow path with the lake on one side,
and the river La Maine on the other side.
In fact, I had started this post last Friday, because I don't work on Fridays. But then I went to dinner and the weekend whirled by, much excitement hearing about and seeing pictures of Elise's first trip to Cincinnati and her baptism. Now I'm going to hit the sack soon, early day of traveling tomorrow. Tram, train, plane and I'll be in San Diego after oh 19ish hours of traveling. Ready for a long weekend in Southern California!
